Toyota Fuel Cell Concept Sedan Debuts This Week
A vehicle that is able to be powered by hydrogen and emit only water may seem like a car from a science fiction movie, but Toyota is making it very much a reality. Attendees of the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will get the first glimpse at the future of automotive technology this week, as Toyota unveils its fuel cell concept car.
According to Toyota’s press release, “The reveal will feature the North America debut of the concept vehicle as well as an introduction to the fuel cell ‘test mule’, which logged thousands of miles during rigorous quality and durability testing on U.S. roadways. Toyota’s news conference will be held Monday, January 6 at 1:00 PM at the Mandalay Bay Conference Center. “
We understand that anytime you see “concept” after a vehicle, you become skeptical that it will ever reach production, but the Toyota FCV concept is different. Toyota promises that a true production model of the FCV will be hitting the roads in early 2015.
