New off-road TRD Pro Series packages boost performance on Toyota Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runner
CHICAGO, Ill. – At the Chicago Auto Show last week, Toyota unveiled its all-new off-road performance-driven TRD Pro Series lineup. The off-road packages, created by the experts at Toyota Racing Development (TRD), will be available on the 2015 Toyota 4Runner, Tacoma, and Tundra.
The factory-installed TRD Pro Series vehicles will be equipped with special TRD edition Bilstein shocks with remote reservoirs, performance-tuned front springs, front skid plates, floor mats, and shift knobs. Also included is a unique front grille with special “TOYOTA” badging that pays tribute to early iconic Toyota models and special black wheels.
Each model comes with additional features. The Tundra TRD Pro will also be equipped with unique interior design elements and an instrument panel ornament insert. It also gains TRD-tuned springs, a TRD dual exhaust system, and TRD PRO quarter panel bed stamping.
The Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro adds the TRD-tuned spring, a TRD Exhaust, and Black TRD PRO badge. The Toyota 4Runner T RD PRO is equipped with black TRD Pro badges, black front and rear lower bumper accents, and all-new 17-inch TRD all-black alloy wheels.
The TRD Pro Series vehicles will be available in Black, Super White and the all-new Inferno color. Look for them to hit Toyota dealership lots in the fall of 2014!
