The Toyota Corolla is the best-selling nameplate on Earth, with nearly 40 million units sold, and this year will mark its 47th on the market. Toyota plans to continue its unprecedented success with a complete redesign of its flagship sedan, which could make the 2014 model year the best yet.
The 2014 Toyota Corolla has been rejuvenated with an all-new exterior design that remains true to the Furia Concept Toyota unveiled earlier this year. According to Toyota’s press release, “the Corolla, long renowned for its reliability and fuel economy, now offers a more expressive exterior design with a sleeker, more athletic profile.”
The sleeker, more sport exterior styling is not the only new aspect of the 2014 Corolla. Toyota now offers a slew of new standard features on the Corolla, including LED headlamps, audio-streaming connectivity, Bluetooth hands-free calling and eight airbags.
Additional available features on the 2014 Toyota Corolla include: a next generation Entune audio system with a 6.1” touchscreen, Navigation, App suite, Smart Key with push-button ignition, power moonroof, back-up monitor, paddle shifters and rear deck lid spoiler.
Toyota has loaded the Corolla with new reasons to get behind the wheel, and has managed to combine them with a starting MSRP less than $17,000.
