2013 Trick-or-Treat schedule and Halloween activities for Epping and the surrounding area
Halloween isn’t officially until next week, but there are plenty of events starting this week in the Epping area. We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite local Fall and Halloween attractions as well as the local Trick-or-Treat schedule.
Halloween and Fall Events
Coppal House Farm: There are plenty of activities for the entire family at Coppal House Farm in Lee. Upcoming events include the “Slightly Spooky” corn maze on Friday, October 25; the 5th Annual Made in NH Day on Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27; and Trick-or-Treat on Thursday, October 31. Other activities include wagon rides, pumpkin picking, and the non-scary version of the Salamander Corn Maze.
DeMeritt Hill Farm (Lee): DeMeritt Hill Farm is most notably known for its hands on pick-your-own experience, and in the Fall, you can expect additional family fun. Visit for hiking trails, hay rides, and face painting. Coming up soon are the Halloween Storybook Hayrides on October 26 and 27 and Trick or Treat on Thursday, October 31 from 4 – 5 p.m.
Emery Farm (Durham): One of the oldest farms in the country, Emery Farm has over 350 years of family farming! Stop by for pumpkins, mums, apples, and cider. Upcoming events include Trick or Treat, a Night Time Hayride and Spooky Corn Maze on Saturday, October 26 from 7 – 9 p.m.
Halloween Dance & Costume Party (Fremont): Join the Fremont Parks & Recreation Commission for a Halloween Dance and Costume Party on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Spaulding & Frost Office Park. You’ll enjoy music, light snacks and beverages, and raffle prizes. There will also be a Best Costume Contest for elementary and middle school kids (one winner per age group). Admission is $2 per adult, which goes towards the new outdoor theater, and FREE for elementary-aged kids.
Haunted Overload (Lee): The scarier side of DeMeritt Hill Farm, Haunted Overload is one of the most creative and unique haunted attractions across the country. You won’t be disappointed.

Epping: Thursday, October 31, 2013 from 5 – 7 p.m.
Freemont: Wednesday, October 30 from 5 – 8 p.m.
Greenland: Thursday, October 31, 2013 from 5 – 8 p.m.
Kingston: Thursday, October 31 from 5 – 8 p.m.
Lee: Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 5 – 7 p.m.
Portsmouth: Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Raymond: Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 5 – 7 p.m.
Stratham: Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 5 – 7 p.m.
