Camping in New Hampshire

Fall is the perfect time to go camping in New Hampshire. The weather is cool but not too cold, and the foliage is a stunning sight to behold. If you have the time to spare, head out for one of these local New Hampshire outdoor getaways.


Bear Brook State Park

A large portion of Allenstown, New Hampshire is made up of Bear Brook State Park. This park is perfect for those near Hurlbert Toyota, as it’s just a 40-minute drive from Epping, New Hampshire. With over 10,000 acres to explore and 101 wooded campsites to choose from, you’ll have no trouble making yourself at home here.


Coleman State Park 

If you head north you’ll come across Coleman State Park, a charming sight situated on Little Diamond Pond. It’s a great spot for fishing, kayaking, and more. The park also has several cabins for rent, great for colder nights or larger groups.


Deer Mountain Campground

This campsite is way up north in Pittsburg, New Hampshire, just south of Canada. The 25-site campground is located in the gorgeous Connecticut Lakes State Forest. It’s the place to go if you’re looking for a primitive camping experience. It’s great for wildlife watching—you may even spot a moose if you get lucky!
